York Civil Service Cricket Club

Founded in 1952 we are a small and friendly club who play at home games at the Heslington Sports Ground near to York University.

We play Saturdays in the York & District Senior League, Wednesday eve Twenty20 in the Pilmoor League and have indoor nets during the winter. On Saturday we have 2 sides, with the 1st team promoted to Div 4 for the 2013 season and the 2nds in Div 7. We are fortunate to play in a league which has established high standards in facilities, pitches and cricket.

There is no requirement to be a civil servant to join - the club consists of a mix of civil servants, ex-civil servants and non-civil servants. All members are required to join the CSSC (Civil Service Sports Council) to which the club is affiliated to, and supported through the CSSC York Area Sports association. New members are always welcomed - join us!
